Technology upgrade to Drupal:
The IKP Stuttgart website has been completely redesigned and rebuilt on the basis of Drupal 9. Drupal is one of the leading content management systems and simplifies the management and customization of content in website applications. With the upgrade to Drupal, a publication database was also integrated, which groups and categorizes different publication types. The previous website was based on the outdated CMS RedDot, which offered limited content creation and management features. This made it difficult to expand the content of the IKP website and make it visually appealing. By switching to the modern CMS Drupal, the IKP website can now unfold its full potential and exploit the institute's potential in terms of online presence and information dissemination.
What is the IKP Stuttgart:
The IKP, in long form the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, is one of the institutes of the Bosch Health Campus and is one of the leading research institutions in the field of clinical pharmacology. From now on, this institute is also more present online thanks to a new website, a more modern CMS and a layout revision. The relaunch of the IKP on Drupal is the first institute of the Bosch Health Campus to receive the new CMS Drupal. However, many other institutes of the BHC are to be converted to a more modern CMS such as Drupal in the near future and follow the example of the IKP.
Branding of the IKP Stuttgart:
The corporate design of the Bosch Health Campus was used as part of the relaunch of the IKP website. In addition to technological modernization, the relaunch also aims to consolidate the Bosch Health Campus brand of the Robert Bosch Stiftung. The IKP is positioned as part of the BHC in order to support the strategic orientation of the Campus and make its institutes more visible.
